What was built
Four floors of building architecture with the interior design carried through in the same hand, 6,000 sq ft built-up. The building was planned and detailed as one work rather than a shell handed to a separate interior effort, which is how the practice runs a residence when it is engaged for both: the plan, the elevations and the interior drawings belong to one set of decisions.
How an engagement like this runs
A residential engagement opens with the advance and presentation drawings, then the working-drawing set carries the build: room-by-room dimensions, levels stated as numbers, the detail junctions a mason meets. Structural drawings follow where the design adds or removes structure, then MEP for water, power and drainage. Supervision runs through construction against the drawing, and closure ends with the walkthrough against the brief.
This is the practice’s standing method for the type, not a claim about this project. The stage sequence and payment triggers are on how we work.
Where this record stands
The practice’s archive is being documented project by project. For this entry, the record holds location, year, scale, the recorded brief; still to be documented are photographs from the practice archive, the client consent that allows story and photographs to publish.
This type of work
Houses and renovations. The practice has worked in Aligarh and Delhi since 1996 across this type.
